iFurniture is a startUp of design and digital fabrication that uses digital tools in its products and furniture. We are creating a network of women designers who are integrated with the carpenters creating a digital carpentry community support in Fab Labs. We are building a platform to connect around the world. Follow us here! https://www.facebook.com/iFurniturePE/ iFurniture is an Innovative Design StartUp that uses digital fabrication tools and is made up of young creative and traditional carpenters, seeking to revolutionize the manufacturing industry in Peru. We develop research in flexible, transformable, modular, space-saving, interactive furniture and and we are looking for partnerships to develop furniture robotics. This proposal is born to know this industry that uses traditional processes in the manufacture of furniture and products, the application of new technologies is still very scarce, we seek to take them to the digital world by promoting products of Peruvian designers - makers that can be customized by all types of users developing technology and innovation in the product and in the manufacturing processes and having a very modern and functional aesthetic. We manufacture prototypes at Furniture Lab, a digital manufacturing laboratory specializing in furniture and industrial design products, where we use tools capable of achieving a proposal that integrates electronics, robotics, mechanics, design and architecture. Furniture design engineering is going to grow a lot in our country, since we are looking at a new trend and industrial development of these new products. The concept is to revolutionize the traditional carpentry to the digital, thus generating a scalable business of high impact in the carpentry industry of Peru.
