in 1949 Monthelado obtained the municipal authorization to manufacture ice cream vWith the economic opening of the 90s, the company experienced an unprecedented shift by acquiring machines, starting industrial-scale production and ice cream. In short, the seal BRC (British Retail Consurtium) is an essential step in the strategy of the organization which has as its cornerstone "consumer care with certified quality distinction in the national and international market." It is a regulatory standard, which guarantees the safety and traceability of food along the entire production chain; its declared on 7 key chapters cover requirements from receipt of raw materials, production process and building conditions complementing the mandatory implementation of existing and also the implementation of good manufacturing practices and HACCP sanitary regulations. from 2012 Monthelado officially launched its commitment to Corporate Responsibility to become a member of SEDEX.
