The Universidad Tecnológica de Santiago —or Santiago University of Technology (UTESA), is a private, coeducational, university located in the Dominican Republic. Its main campus is in the city of Santiago de los Caballeros, and it has smaller campus extensions in Santo Domingo, Puerto Plata, Moca, Dajabon and Santa Cruz de Mao. It was founded on November 12, 1974, by a group of professionals and is one of the main research institutes in the country.[1] UTESA is recognized as one of the highest-ranking universities in the Dominican Republic, with emphasis on branches of health and of engineering.
