In 2015, Tellura was set up with the objective of producing quality handmade cachaça, respecting the norms of good practices of safety and sustainability, providing a new sensorial experience. With more than 100 years of tradition in the alcoholic sector, Fazenda Abadia is located in Campos dos Goytacazes, in the north of the state of Rio de Janerio. Strategically located near Port do Açu, Tellura is ready to export its product and drain its production. Tellura is located only 48km away from Açu Port, allowing low logistic costs, 280 km from Rio de Janeiro’s Port and 248km from Vitória’s Port. Our entire process is strictly controlled by our employees, who have proven excellence in the handling of sugar cane. As sugar cane is our main raw material and its essential for the quality of our product we can obtain good quality cachaça. Our Harvesting is done manually to ensure the integrity of the cane and the milling is carried out on the same day The plant has 4 copper stills with capacity for 600 thousand liters of cachaça annually. One of the largest Brazilian cachaça plants. We also have variety of types of barrels that allow the elaboration of the perfect blends for unique occasions and tastes. Therefor we elaborated 3 products: Tellura Prata (stored in stainless still cask for 6 months.
