CACHAÇA MEIA LUA - PINGA NI MIM Tradition, quality and uniqueness are words with which we can more precisely define Cachaça Meia Lua. We know that the history of Cachaça de Salinas has unparalleled beauty. In 1950, Deli Alves Rocha bought the Jacurutu farm. From there, he started producing cachaça and rapadura to sell in the region. João Fernandes married his daughter and started traveling selling his products in the region. It is worth remembering that such products were immediately accepted and, consequently, the main product was named: Cachaça de Lua Cheia. It was in 1988 that the inheritance, passed from father to son, became a reality. After years of improvement, Ailton Fernandes decided to found Cachaça Meia Lua. Over time, the increase in production and the success in creating new products gave life to a novelty: Cachaça Meia Lua Prata. At the end of 2019, Cachaça Meia Lua came to be called Meia Lua Distillery, composed of a very ambitious project derived from the incorporation of the PREMISSA and UNNA brands. Today, the Meia Lua Distillery stands out with first line products. The success was the result of hard work and the effort to seek the best quality. This Sunday will be the official launch of the cachaça Meia Lua PINGA NI MIM, in honor of the singer and actor, Sérgio Reis, who has music as a milestone in his career as a great national artist. Launched in the 80s, the song Pinga Ni Mim goes beyond generations and is a success until today in all the shows in which it is performed. There will be three versions of the PINGA NI MIM cachaça: Amburana - is stored for two years in wooden barrels of amburana, a typical Brazilian tree. An elegant, balanced, persistent cachaça with low acidity, sweet taste and aroma with notes of cinnamon and vanilla, the result of a deep sensory analysis and demanding quality standard. PAIRING: Fish, seafood, feijoada or desserts. Silver - is stored for two years in wooden barrels of jequitibá, a typical Brazilian tree. A neutral cachaça that highlights the original flavor of the cane. Its flavor is smooth, but striking, with vegetable and fruity notes. Ideal for your caipirinha, your drink and also to be enjoyed pure. PAIRING: Feijoada, barbecue, roasted meats. Reserva do Serjão - is a blend of American oak, French oak, amburan, eucalyptus, balm, chestnut and sassafras cinnamon, aged in first-use barrels. Aging: 8 years. PAIRING: Fish, seafood, feijoada, barbecue or desserts. In addition to all this, PINGA NI NIM is produced in the mining town of Salinas, a reference in the production of cachaça. The climate and the soil are favorable for the cultivation of sugar cane. In addition, emphasis should be placed on the quality of cachaças at the Meia Lua farm. All of this added together results in an original product, which translates the Brazilianness of the drink right from the first sip. As if the manufacture of cachaças was not enough, the company has a bottler, store, farm and storage sheds. It was one of the pioneering companies in exporting the product to the United States of America. Find out more through the website www.meialuadestilaria.com.br
