After graduating from University College London with prizes, I trained in North West London hospitals including Hammersmith, Chelsea and Westminster and Royal Free. I obtained a Master's degree in Clinical Education and a higher research degree in pulmonary hypertension and connective tissue diseases. I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and a member of the Education and Training Committee at the British Society of Rheumatology. I am an NHS consultant at the Royal Free Hospital where I specialize in general rheumatology, adolescent rheumatology, connective tissue diseases and a rare disease called pulmonary hypertension. I have presented his research at several international conferences and won the Young Investigator Award at the British Society of Rheumatology.
