See translation
Curindi Tapestries was founded in 2016 by Andres Jerez Chango, distinguished weaver who belongs to Salasaka, an indigenous town. Curindi is a new alternative for the cultural conservation of handwoven tapestries, which are made in various shapes and designs. The fibers that we used are from alpaca, agave and sheep, which are dyed with extracts from plants and animals, like puma maqui and cochineal.
