ACCEPLAN ACCESIBILIDAD is a company born in the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2001 dedicated to consulting, research and training to improve accessibility and usability in urban areas, buildings and transportation. It has a multidisciplinary team of architects, urbanists, social innovators and economists. Our activities include developping projects of urban planning and mobility, demand studies and participatory processes as well as assessing companies and institutions for the improvement of projects and the implementation of major transport infrastructure (metro, BRT, etc.). All these fields are discussed with special attention to issues of quality of use, accessibility for all users (particularlly those older or disabled) and sustainability. ACCEPLAN has also relevant experience working with public administrations in drafting regulations and manuals as well as in the organization of courses and conferences.
