Armando Trelles

Armando Trelles is a Mexican professional with 28 years of experience in the Water, Energy and Environment sectors. He has held technical, managerial and consulting positions in public and private organisations in Mexico and abroad.

The main part of his career has been with the Mexican Institute of Water Technology (IMTA). In addition, he established the technology-based consulting firm HIDROTEC.

He holds a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering (Mexico); two Graduate Specialty Studies in Water Resources, equivalent to a M.Sc. degree (France); and international continuing education in Renewable Energy, among other subjects. He currently pursues a Ph.D. degree in Water Sciences and Technology.

He has communicated his experience in 20 American and European countries. Besides Spanish, he speaks fluently English and French, and understands Portuguese.
