
About me
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English Teaching and a Master’s Degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from University of Costa Rica which is considered the best public University in all Central America and one of the best 50 in Latin America. I was an academic director for more than 3 years at the Canadian Center of Languages and have been an English professor for more than 8 years. My experience in teaching encompasses all levels, from beginners to advance, ages, from children to adults and nationalities; I have participated as a guest speaker in the International Conference of Languages at UCR and the National Conference of English Teachers at Centro Cultural Costarricense Norteamericano, attended several national and international seminars and conferences in Costa Rica and the United States such as Nafsa's Annual Conference and Expo. I have also been nominated as the best professor of the school of education at ULACIT for 2013 and 2014. My passion for school administration has also provided me with vast knowledge in language acquisition, program design and multicultural learning.
I have served not only in the tasks associated with teaching and school administration but as a facilitator/coordinator of cultural activities and events by designing culture-oriented courses, workshops, programs and seminars.
