Hary Faratiana ANDRIANASOLO

My name is Faratiana ANDRIANASOLO, a committed Malagasy artisan and founder of the company By Faratiana. I live and work in Madagascar, where I handcraft natural food products rooted in the botanical richness of my island. My company specializes in ready-to-drink plant-based powders designed for women's well-being. Each creation is formulated with carefully selected local ingredients—cocoa, baobab, moringa, and medicinal plants—using an artisanal, sensory, and feminine approach. I am an independent entrepreneur, passionate about plant alchemy, food sovereignty, and women's empowerment. I run my business alone, occasionally collaborating with women from local communities to harvest and process the plants. My mission is to promote Madagascar's rare plants through healthy, delicious, and meaningful products. I'm currently looking to structure my project for export and am open to support to promote my artisanal expertise beyond borders, particularly to Canada. This year, in 2025, I was selected to be part of the international cohort of the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women's Business for Women program, a foundation dedicated to supporting women entrepreneurs around the world. This opportunity strengthens my skills in management, leadership, and international development.
