Donald E. Ellison

Don Ellison's expertise is in creating foreign markets for companies exploring opportunities overseas, especially high technology and healthcare businesses. I am well-known for being successful in the corridors of the federal government, building cross-border commerce for clients, and guiding corporate governance from the Board of Directors to the C-Suite. I am also recognized for my skills with trade and professional associations, I am often quoted in publications and asked to present testimony before governmental bodies and speak before national and regional conferences -- most recently before the U.S. Chamber of Commerce on "Overcoming Foreign Trade Barriers' and soon at the Association for Strategic Planning's National Convention on "Business Overhead to Opportunity: Transforming Employees into a Star Sales Force," other examples can be provided. I have been an adviser in international trade policy for over 25 years to the Executive and Legislative Branches of the U.S. Government (USG) -- serving on the U.S. Secretary of Commerce and the United States Trade Representative's International Trade Advisory Committee, the VA-DC District Export Council, the Manufacturing 2040 Task Force, etc. I am a NACD Board Leadership Fellow (NACD is the National Association of Corporate Directors).
