Richard McLeish

Richard McLeish is a Chemical Engineer (MS Chemical Engineering Howard University) by training with process engineering and product development experience at Kraft Foods North America. Richard also has a BSc from UWI in Chemistry and brings with him 14 years of experience in the food industry. His passion for using local inputs innovatively to drive productivity in Jamaica is evident in the development of the Irie Isle brand in 2006. This family-owned company has 80% of the workforce being women and has a strong relationship with the community and local suppliers.
