Luis Alberto Santiago

He has consulted nationally and internationally for the private sector and for the government of the Dominican Republic. He also won an international competition and was selected by the Organization of American States as Liaison Officer of Electronic Government in his country. In 2012, he won the Orange Innovation Challenge of the DR with a project called "Data Gatherer." As the winner, he participated in the class of 2012 from the Graduate Studies Program at Singularity University, based at NASA Ames Reserch Center in Mountain View California. It was here that he presented a project called "Empifi" which seeks to understand human emotions using sensors in the garments and contextualized data collection via personal devices. Also in 2012, he was selected as the finalist for the "gifted citizen award" and received a full scholarship to attend and present at the Fifth International Festival Of Brilliant Minds Ciudad de las Ideas, in Puebla, Mexico. More importantly, he has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, is the husband of an amazing woman, father of two beautiful children and passionate about exponential technologies and their potential to improve and impact the lives of mankind.
