ocio Aslida Norzagaray Sandoval is a Food Sciense from UNAM and holds a degree in Science Education from the Normal Superior of Mexico. She is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies focused on Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). With over 15 years of experience, she is a specialist in administrative processes, an early-stage startup consultant, and a mentor for consumer cooperatives, skillfully combining scientific knowledge with a commitment to social economy. Co-founder of Grupo Dios Cacao, a purpose-driven company that develops antioxidant-rich food products such as cacao, honey, coffee, and preserves. Rocío works closely with women in vulnerable situations in Soconusco, Chiapas, fostering inclusive value chains, fair trade practices, and export readiness. Dios Cacao stands as a powerful example of how flavor, health, and collective impact can come together through entrepreneurship rooted in community values. Her passion for fair trade, social canvas, solidarity economy, and women-led entrepreneurship, Rocío is also the mother of triplets. For nine years, she has balanced her full-time role as a businesswoman and leader with motherhood, channeling her energy into building happy teams and transforming rural communities—one cacao bean at a time.
