The motto for A1 Solutions " Your Perfection ... Our Passion" demonstrates a central passion also of myself which is to help others (both people and corporations) achieve their maximum potential. Similar to what took place with the Japanese economy post World War II where they adopted the techniques of Dr. William Edward Deming that spurred their Total Quality culture, I am convinced that Energy Management which incidentally the ISO 50001 program is a spin off of Dr. Deming's Plan - Do - Check - Act cycle provides the modern day equivalent to achieve similar if not greater measures of success.

Everyone, everywhere identifies with energy in one form or the other. Whether through a utility bill, through their transportation means or simply in realizing that the more work / exercise they do the more tired they become makes individuals realize that energy is finite, and therefore is a resource to be managed. Because the manner of its use can be tied to efficiency, if correctly monitored it not only can save money, but also transform lives as it can become a tool for the measurement of productivity. This is the crux of my passion. The language of energy being utilized to transform corporations to their fullest potential and now with an established international energy management program the vehicle to achieve this aim has been realized.

To date significant savings and changes have been realized for the customers that have embraced through A1 Solutions even in the early stages of implementation. A key factor is the degree of teamwork that it generates due to the objective measurement of results and the degree to which you are able to identify the changes of these results with the direct work and actions of the respondents. Through means such as DASHBOARDs and Energy Performance Indicators you are able to meet the employee at their respective level of responsibility and with that bring about a culture and climate of responsibility and accountability that originates from within the person and not without. This catalyzes broad acceptance and a commonality of purpose that generates a disproportionate synergy that produces savings far in excess of the individual measures instituted themselves.

To see this propagated in corporations, countries and regions is my passion and one of the key reasons for my joining this community.
