About me
I am accredited by Sustainable Travel International as an Auditor for the Sustainable Tourism Eco-certification Program™ and the Luxury Eco-Certification Standard.
I have a Masters degree in Environment and International Development. My key interests are in conservation and biodiversity and the role of tourism as a tool for enhancing both. My previous experience includes ecotourism in Southeast Asia, community-based tourism in Ghana and programme management for an international development NGO, coordinating business development assignments and ecotourism projects in destinations worldwide. I have also worked in the environmental sector with an environmental consultancy and in sustainability for Local Government. I hold a PRINCE2 certification in Project Management for Sustainable Tourism.
Currently based in El Salvador.
