John Gohring

John is Co-founder and General Manager of Cosecha Partners S.A., a mission-driven enterprise that supplies organic and all-natural specialty ingredients to the international food industry while benefiting small farmers and communities in Nicaragua. He is passionate about making healthy food accessible to all and doing it in a way that promotes shared value and sustainability. Based in Managua, Nicaragua, John leads the company’s day-to-day operations and is responsible for our local grower initiatives, training and capacity building programs, and supply chain management. John has spent his career working on the frontlines of agriculture, trade, and international development. His work in these fields over the last decade has taken him to over 20 countries in Latin America and Africa on behalf of agricultural producers, government organizations, and Fortune 500 companies as a technical consultant, market development advisor, and team leader. A native of California, he is an advanced Spanish speaker and holds a master's degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University, and a bachelor's degree from the University of Oregon.
