Learn about the textile and clothing industry through CAMTEX

The Chamber of Textile, Clothing and Free Trade Zone Industries (CAMTEX), represents and supports the textile and clothing industry as well as the free trade zones in this country to strengthen their competitiveness.

Precisely, the textile and clothing sector is one of the most important sectors in El Salvador’s economy, which is getting stronger every year, achieving new records, especially in exports, thanks to adjustments made in recent years, such as:

• Vertical integration;
• Incorporation of a synthetics cluster;
• In garment making;
• Increase in process technology; and
• Design services, among others.
