Through its services, Enterprise Florida (EFI) works to expand and diversify Florida's economy through job creation:
- Business Location, Relocation and Expansion. In collaboration with 67 statewide economic development offices, community leaders, utility partners and other local affiliates, EFI accomplishes its mission of confidentially assisting companies with their location, relocation and expansion plans.
- Expand by Exporting. EFI assists Florida businesses in expanding into the international marketplace by: offering export counseling and advice, organizing and executing overseas trade missions and shows, assisting Florida companies in marketing their products and services overseas, maintaining a network of International Offices, offering financial assistance for export transactions to small- and medium-sized Florida companies, providing the Florida Export Directory, Providing international trade statistics, analyses of international trade trends and detailed import/export reports.
- Minority and Small Business, Entrepreneurship and Capital Support. The Minority and Small Business, Entrepreneurship and Capital (MASBEC) division of Enterprise Florida was established to improve the economic, business and regulatory climate in Florida for minority, small business and entrepreneurial firms. MASBEC’s objective is to provide critical resources and support to these entities directly and in collaboration with strategic partners throughout the state.
