Finabank NV (“Finabank”), established in 1991 and 100% privately owned, is one of the systemically important financial institutions in Suriname. BID Invest is exploring a senior unsecured debt financing of up to US$15 million to originate sub-loans to sub-borrowers. The primary objective is to support the growth of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Suriname. The loan term will be up to seven years, with a five-year grace period and four equal repayments during the final two years. Special emphasis will be placed on women-led MSMEs.
