IDB PROJECT|BR-M1113

Empowering small scale coffee farmers for global markets climate change resistance

The project addresses key barriers to inclusive development, poverty reduction, and vulnerability to climate change for small-scale family coffee farmers in Brazil. The project will build and strengthen farmer organizations; provide farmers with knowledge, skills, and access to services and support structures to benefit from emerging opportunities in the coffee market; and will pilot an approach to increase the resilience of their production systems to climate change.
