Care Communities Program: Community modality of comprehensive care for elderly people dependent on care

Description

The Republic of Panama has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank for the Phase II Social Inclusion and Development Program and will use part of the funds to finance this contract. The loan agreement is 5734/OC-PN and the operation is PN-L1177.

The Ministry of Social Development (MIDES) invites eligible bidders to submit proposals for the implementation of the Care Communities Program, in its community modality of comprehensive care for elderly people dependent on care.

The procurement will be carried out through International Public Bidding (IPL), in accordance with the Policies for the Acquisition of Works and Goods financed by the IDB (GN-2349-15). Bidders must comply with the technical, financial and legal requirements established in the bidding documents.

No margin of preference will be granted to national contractors nor will negotiations or the Final Best Proposal procedure be used. Proposals must include a Statement of Maintenance of the Proposal and be presented physically, without the possibility of electronic submission.
