Acquisition of equipment for the sustainability of DIBED

Description

Belize has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank for the Digital Innovation to Boost Economic Development in Belize project and will use part of the proceeds to finance this contract. The operation is BL-L1039 and the loan agreement is 5647/OC-BL.

The Ministry of Finance, Economic Development and Investment invites eligible bidders to submit bids for the supply and delivery of computer equipment and a generator, aimed at supporting the sustainability of the DIBED project.

Contracting will be carried out through International Public Bidding (IPL), in accordance with the Policies for the Acquisition of Works and Goods financed by the IDB. Bidders must demonstrate access to financial resources for a minimum of BZD 202,500 and prove at least two similar contracts satisfactorily executed during the last eight years, each for a minimum value equivalent to 75% of the contract offered. They must also submit technical documentation of the equipment and authorization from the manufacturer.

No margin of preference will be granted to contractors or national associations. Bids must include a Statement of Bid Maintenance and may be submitted electronically or physically.
