USF Dental Equipment - 1st Stage

The Republic of Paraguay has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank for the Program for the Strengthening of Integrated and Comprehensive Health Services Networks Based on Primary Health Care and will use part of the funds to finance this contract. The operation is PR-L1167 and the loan agreement is 4872/OC-PR.
The Ministry of Public Health and Social Welfare invites eligible bidders to submit bids for the acquisition of dental equipment for 55 Family Health Units (FHUs). The supply includes dental chairs and accessories, autoclaves and X-ray machines.
The procurement will be carried out through International Public Bidding in accordance with the Policies for the Acquisition of Works and Goods financed by the IDB. Bidders must prove financial capacity and experience in the supply of dental equipment during the years 2023, 2024 and 2025, for a minimum cumulative amount equivalent to 40% of the value of the bid. They must also submit authorizations from the manufacturer or distributor, technical documentation, guarantees of availability of spare parts and authorized service centers.
A margin of preference will be granted to national contractors or APCAs and the Best Final Offer (M.O.F.) procedure will be applied. Bids must include a Bid Maintenance Guarantee equivalent to 5% of the bid price and electronic submission is not permitted.
