Procurement of hygiene, health and safety items for educational institutions

Description

The Republic of El Salvador has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank for the project Acquisition of Hygiene, Health and Safety Articles for Educational Centers and will use part of the funds to finance this contract. The operation is ES-L1139 and the loan agreement is 5080/OC-ES-1.
The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology invites eligible bidders to submit bids for the supply of items for educational centers, distributed in three lots: Lot A (hygiene items), Lot B (health items) and Lot C (safety items). The established delivery time is 15 to 30 calendar days.
Contracting will be carried out through National Public Bidding in accordance with the Policies for the Acquisition of Works and Goods financed by the IDB. Bidders must demonstrate financial capacity, with a solvency index greater than 1, and experience in similar contracts executed during the last five years, for a cumulative amount equal to or greater than the value of their bid. Likewise, they must submit at least three satisfactory references and technical documentation of the items offered.
Margin of preference will be granted to national contractors or APCAs. Bids must include a Bid Maintenance Statement and electronic submission is not permitted.
