Provision of equipment, appliances and kitchen utensils for educational centers

Description

The Republic of El Salvador has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank for the project Improving the Quality and Coverage of Education: Be Born, Grow, Learn and will use part of the funds to finance this contract. The operation is ES-L1139 and the loan agreement is 5080/OC-ES-1.
The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology invites eligible bidders to submit bids for the provision of equipment, appliances and kitchen utensils for educational centers.
Contracting will be carried out through International Public Bidding in accordance with the Policies for the Acquisition of Works and Goods financed by the IDB. Bidders must demonstrate experience during the last 10 years in contracts for the supply of goods equal or similar to those required, submit at least three satisfactory references of similar supplies and provide catalogs or brochures of the items offered in accordance with the technical specifications.
No margin of preference will be granted to national contractors or APCAs. Bids must include a Bid Maintenance Statement and electronic submission is not permitted.
