Description
The Inter-American Development Bank invites consulting firms to submit their Expression of Interest to develop and apply a diagnostic tool for case management systems for gender-based violence (GBV) and violence against women (VAW). The objective is to assess the quality, coverage, use, and interoperability of data, identify gaps, and formulate recommendations to strengthen information systems and institutional coordination.
1. Development of the conceptual framework and diagnostic tool
Design an instrument that evaluates data production processes, incorporates ethical principles and allows systems to be classified according to their levels of maturity.
2. Data standardization and interoperability
Define a minimum set of variables in accordance with international standards, guaranteeing the protection of sensitive information and facilitating the exchange of data between institutions.
3. Recommendations and pilot implementation
Develop improvement and interoperability modules adapted to national regulatory frameworks, apply the tool in at least one country and incorporate the lessons learned.
4. Institutional strengthening
To guide IDB teams in the use of the tool to integrate the gender perspective in the design, supervision and evaluation of operations.
Interested companies should carefully review the registration requirements on the relevant IDB portal and ensure that all requested information is completed before submitting their Statement of Interest (EOI).
