Description

The Republic of Suriname has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank for the Fiscal Support Program to Regain Growth and intends to use part of the proceeds to finance this contract. The operation is SU-L1060 and the loan contract is 5727/OC-SU.

The Ministry of Finance and Planning invites eligible bidders to submit bids for server infrastructure and hardware for the Directorate of Taxes and Customs (DoTC). The procurement includes hyperconverged compute and storage with eight nodes, data center networking and security, data protection and backup, power and physical infrastructure, five-year software licenses, fire suppression and environmental monitoring systems, and turnkey implementation and support services. The procurement process is SU-L1060-P00094 (publication IDB-5727OCSU-P00094-SPN).

The procurement will be conducted through International Competitive Bidding in accordance with IDB Procurement Policies and is open to bidders from eligible countries. Requirements include manufacturer or authorized distributor authorization, five-year hardware and software support and warranties, equipment authenticity and compatibility, turnkey implementation capacity, compliance with SLA requirements, and appropriate manufacturer certifications. No margin of preference will be granted to national contractors or joint ventures. Bids must include a bid security declaration, and electronic submissions are not permitted.
