Description

The Federative Republic of Brazil has requested financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the Program for the Expansion and Modernization of the Espírito Santo Penitentiary System (MODERNIZA-ES), loan agreement 5155/OC-BR, and intends to use part of the funds for consulting services contracts.

The State Secretariat of Justice (SEJUS) invites eligible consultants to express their interest in providing the requested services, which include consulting with an engineering firm to support the supervision and inspection of the execution of the works of the MODERNIZA-ES Program.

Conditions of the call
Selection: Selection based on quality and cost (SBQC), in accordance with IDB Policies for the Selection and Hiring of Consultants GN-2350-15; companies from eligible home countries can participate.
Short list: minimum of five and maximum of eight companies; they can be composed entirely of national consulting firms.
Association: Companies may associate in the form of a joint venture to enhance their qualifications. The nationality corresponds to that of the country in which the company is legally incorporated and, in the case of a joint venture, to that of the company designated as a representative.
Presentation and consultations
Filing: Expressions of Interest must be submitted electronically, through the electronic document system, as instructed in the notice, with information indicating that the businesses are qualified to provide the services.
