Description
Brazil, through the Department of Highways of the State of São Paulo (DER-SP), has financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the "Highway Investment Program of the State of São Paulo - Phase III" (Process BR-L1607-P00002). This call for International Public Bidding (LPI) invites eligible bidders to submit closed bids for the execution of civil works on the SP-425 highway (Lot 1).
Scope of the works
Main objective: Execution of civil engineering and road infrastructure works related to Group 2 (G2), SP-425 Lot 1.
Estimated time: Eighteen (18) months of construction.
Eligibility requirements and conditions
Regulatory framework: International Public Bidding (IPL) conducted in accordance with the Policies for the Acquisition of Works and Goods Financed by the IDB.
Eligibility criteria:
Proof of annual revenue with civil works and previous experience in road construction projects.
Formal declaration of availability of equipment and indication of a duly qualified technical team.
Demonstration of financial soundness, proof of net working capital and declaration of non-breach of contract.
Guarantee and preference: Mandatory presentation of an Offer Maintenance Guarantee in the amount of BRL $1,766,000.00. No margin of preference will be applied to construction companies, consortiums or national associations.
Bid management and presentation
Access to documents: The bidding documents in Portuguese are available for consultation and free of charge at the Coordination of Bids and Contracting of Engineering Works and Services (CGLA/CSA) via e-mail (cgla@der.sp.gov.br) or through the DER-SP electronic portal in www.der.sp.gov.br.
Delivery modality: Face-to-face delivery of offers in a closed envelope at the DER-SP Auditorium (Avenida do Estado, nº 777 – Wing B – 5th floor, São Paulo/SP). Proposals sent electronically will not be accepted. The opening of offers will take place in a face-to-face public session and online transmission.
