Description

Suriname, through the Ministry of Finance and Planning, has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) under the "Fiscal Support Program To Regain Growth" (Loan SU-L1060). This International Competitive Bidding (ICB) process invites eligible suppliers to submit sealed bids for the supply of a professional Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) for Customs operations under the Directorate of Taxes and Customs (DoTC).

Scope of supply
Main objective: Purchase of a Professional Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) for Customs.

Included goods and services: Provision of onboard navigation and electronics, safety equipment, manufacturer warranty, supply of spare parts, complete documentation, commissioning, sea trials, training, acceptance testing, and after-sales support.

Qualification requirements and conditions
Regulatory framework: International Competitive Bidding (ICB) conducted in accordance with IDB Procurement Policies for Goods and Works.

Technical and financial requirements: Proof of manufacturer or authorized distributor status, demonstrated financial capability, proven experience in the supply of similar marine vessels, full compliance with technical specifications, and provision of required warranty and maintenance support.

Margin of preference: A margin of preference for national contractors or joint ventures will be granted as outlined in the bidding documents.

Access to bidding documents: Interested bidders may obtain a complete set of bidding documents in English free of charge by submitting a written request to the Ministry of Finance and Planning, which will be delivered via email.
