Construction of the Estumilla dam and irrigation system (Vitichi)

Description

Bolivia, through the Ministry of Sustainable Production, Environment and Water, has financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the "National Program of Technified Irrigation with a Basin Approach I". This call for National Public Bidding (LPN) invites eligible bidders to submit closed proposals for the construction of the Estumilla dam and irrigation system in the municipality of Vitichi.

Scope of the works
Main objective: Construction of the dam and the infrastructure of the Estumilla irrigation system (Vitichi).

Estimated timeframe: 450 days.

Qualification Requirements and Conditions
Regulatory framework: National Public Bidding (LPN) conducted in accordance with the IDB's Policies for the Acquisition of Works and Goods.

Evaluation criteria: Verification of the company's technical expertise, qualifications and experience of key personnel, availability of the required equipment, as well as compliance with the legal and financial requirements specified in the specifications.

Margin of preference: No margin of preference will be granted to national contractors or consortia (APCA).

Required guarantee: Mandatory presentation of the Bid Maintenance Statement.

Access to the rules: The bidding documents in Spanish can be requested by email (uteppatriaagual1226@gmail.com) or downloaded directly from the platform of the State Contracting System (SICOES) in www.sicoes.gob.bo with the CUCE code: 26-0041-24-1688819-1-1.

Delivery modality: Physical presentation of proposals in a sealed envelope at the offices of the executing unit in La Paz (Avenida 20 de Octubre between Otero de la Vega and Santos Machicado, Mollinedo Building No. 1628, San Pedro Zone). Electronic bids are not allowed. The opening will take place in a public event in person and online.
