Purchase and installation of disinfection equipment and provision of technical assistance for operation and management of the equipment

Description

Belize, through the Social Investment Fund (BSIF), has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the "Water and Sanitation Program for Rural Areas". This Invitation for Bids (IFB) invites eligible suppliers to submit sealed bids for the purchase, installation, and management support of disinfection equipment.

Scope of supply
Main objective: Purchase and installation of disinfection equipment, along with the provision of technical assistance for its operation and management in rural water systems.

Delivery period: 200 days.

Qualification requirements and conditions
Procurement method: International Competitive Bidding (ICB) conducted in accordance with IDB Procurement Policies for Goods and Works. The Best and Final Offer (B.A.F.O.) procedure will be applied.

Technical and administrative criteria: Goods must satisfy technical specifications, financial qualifications, power of attorney, and other requirements specified in the bidding documents.

Margin of preference: No margin of preference will be granted to national contractors or joint ventures.

Guarantee required: Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security for an amount equivalent to 10% of the total bid price.

Submission and access to documents
Access to documents: Complete bidding documents in English are delivered via email upon written request to BSIF (kyla.cho@sifbelize.org) and payment of a non-refundable fee of BZD $50.00 via bank transfer.

Submission mode: Bids may be submitted physically at the Belize Social Investment Fund in Belmopan or electronically. Public opening will take place both physically and online.
