Description
The Dominican Republic, through the Santo Domingo Aqueduct and Sewerage Corporation (CAASD), has financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean (CAF) for the "Hatillo Reservoir Water Security Program". This call invites interested contractors and engineers to participate in the prequalification process and in the early market consultation (International Roadshow).
Scope of the project and works
Main objective: Design, construction and 20 years of operation of the drinking water supply infrastructure for the province of Sánchez Ramírez and Greater Santo Domingo.
Program structure and investment: Total estimated investment of USD 645,000,000.00, structured under a Golden FIDIC (Design-Build-Operate) model oriented to performance and operational sustainability, organized in two (2) processes:
Process 1: Hatillo Aqueduct and Conduction (2 lots).
Process 2: Macro Distribution Network (Single Lot).
Prequalification process and market consultation
Prequalification of contractors: Prior selection of firms qualified to assume the design, construction and operational management of the works in an integrated manner.
Early Market Consultation (Roadshow): Holding an informative event in face-to-face and virtual mode (Early Market Engagement) to expose the key aspects of the processes and channel the sector's queries.
Document management and request
Access to the bases: Prequalification documents in Spanish are requested by email or through the CAASD institutional portal.
Submission modality: Applications for intent to prequalify must be submitted in writing to the Directorate for the Execution of Investment Programs and Projects (DEPPI) of the CAASD in Santo Domingo.
