Description

Bolivia, through the National Electricity Company (ENDE), has financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the "Rural Electrification Program III". This call invites eligible consulting firms to submit their expressions of interest.

Scope of the consultancy
- Main objective: Comprehensive technical supervision for the execution of rural electrification projects in different communities of the country.

- Projects included:

Construction of electrification in the rural communities of Villa Andino, Litoral and Condoriri, Municipality of Pucarani (Department of La Paz).

Construction of rural electrification in Maravillas Grande, Municipality of Colomi (Department of Cochabamba).
Qualification and Experience Requirements

Required experience: Prove track record in construction and/or supervision of electric power distribution projects in Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) overhead networks completed in Bolivia.

Criteria for short list: Firms must prove a cumulative volume of built or supervised works that exceeds $308.60\text{ km}$ of MV and LV lines (equivalent to twice the extension of the project). In the event of a tie between participants, priority will be given to the company with the highest number of completed projects.

Documentation: Presentation in simple copy of the legal documents of the firm and a detailed matrix with the support of the required experience.
Selection and conditions

Regulatory framework and method: The process will be conducted using the Selection Based on Consultant Qualifications (SCC) method, according to the IDB's Consulting Policies (GN-2350-15), to form a short list of between 5 and 8 eligible firms.

Partnerships and modality: Companies may associate in Joint Ventures or incorporate sub-consultants. Expressions of interest are allowed to be delivered electronically.
