Description
The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) is calling on specialized production companies and audiovisual firms to develop and produce a micro-documentary. The main purpose of the project is to make unwanted loneliness and social isolation visible as critical problems within the agenda of active ageing, healthy longevity and social co-responsibility of care.

Documentary format: Production of an audiovisual piece of up to 25 minutes in length, aimed at influencing decision-makers in the public and private sectors.
*Thematic axes: Integration of reflections by academics and international experts in geriatrics, gerontology and dependency care policies, articulated under a storytelling that intertwines technical voices and life stories.
International deployment: Coordination of on-site filming in Uruguay, Costa Rica and Chile, including the management of local film crews under its direction in third countries such as Spain and the United States.
2. Operational phases of production
Pre-production: Gathering information, documentary research, definition of the visual and narrative style, preparation of the technical script, rundown, filming guidelines and management of permits or image rights.
Production (shooting): Direction of photography and sound in the field, recording of interviews with the spokespersons suggested by the Bank and recording of support material (B-roll) in urban, rural and institutional spaces.
Post-production: Narrative editing, color correction, color grading, sound design, audio mixing, insertion of institutional graphic identity and complete subtitling of the piece in English and Spanish.
3. Governance, deliverables and quality standards
