The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) is seeking a specialized consulting firm to provide targeted advisory and analytical support to Green Coalition (GC) members. The objective is to design and implement a standardized methodology to identify, measure, and assess financial flows directed toward sustainable activities in the Amazonia region.
1. Methodology development and baseline reporting
- GCIG alignment: Developing a robust tracking methodology fully aligned with the Green Coalition Investment Guidelines (GCIG) to evaluate regional financial mobilization.
- Baseline establishment: Formulating a comprehensive baseline report mapping and measuring historical financial flows from GC members to the Amazon region, analyzing data from 2023 to 2025.
2. Future projections and bottleneck analysis
- Medium-term estimation: Identifying and mapping potential financial flows from Green Coalition members directed to sustainable activities for the 2026–2030 horizon.
- Goal tracking: Conducting a strategic analysis of progress toward the Green Coalition 2030 target based on collected data.
- Risk and obstacle mapping: Diagnosing operational and structural bottlenecks that limit capital deployment, providing actionable policy and investment recommendations.
3. Portfolio eligibility and timeline
- ABIG alignment: Conducting a preliminary review of GC financial flows to assess project eligibility against the criteria, categories, and explicit exclusions established in the Amazonia Bonds Issuance Guidelines (ABIG).
- Contract duration: Delivering all specialized advisory, analytical frameworks, and final reports within a fixed nine-month execution period from the signing of the contract.
