Description
The Dominican Republic has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the implementation of the Universal Sanitation Program for Tourist and Coastal Cities. The National Institute of Drinking Water and Sewerage (INAPA), as the executing agency, is calling for this tender in order to strengthen the operational capacity of water and sanitation systems in strategic areas for tourism and environmental conservation.
The purpose of the tender is the acquisition of a fleet of specialised heavy machinery, essential for the preventive and corrective maintenance of sewerage networks and water supply in emergency situations. The required fleet includes high load, suction and digging capacity equipment.
The goods to be acquired under this tender are:
10 ton crane truck (1 Unit): For the movement of pumps and heavy components of pumping stations.
Articulated crane truck (1 Unit): For precision maneuvers in small spaces.
Suction truck (1 pc): Vital equipment for cleaning sewers and septic tanks.
Water tanker truck (1 unit): For the distribution of drinking water in areas with temporary deficit.
Backhoe (1 Unit): For pipe repair work and general excavations.
The tender is carried out under the modality of International Public Bidding (LPI). To qualify, bidders must demonstrate:
Financial capacity: A ratio of total assets/total liabilities greater than or equal to 1, supported by audited financial statements.
Technical expertise: Prove at least three (3) contracts or purchase orders of a similar nature executed in the last 5 years.
After-sales service: Evidence of ability to provide technical support and durability of the equipment supplied.
