Acquisition of a vehicle for the Ministry of Tourism

Description

The Republic of El Salvador, through the Ministry of Tourism (MITUR), has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the Program to Support the Recovery and Expansion of the Tourism Sector in El Salvador. The objective of this public tender is to acquire a vehicle that will strengthen the institution's operational and supervisory capacities. This asset is key to ensuring the execution of the tourism expansion program, allowing the deployment of technical personnel to the various destinations and infrastructure projects that seek to position the country as a benchmark for sustainable tourism.

Scope of Supply:

- Vehicle acquisition: Supply of a new vehicle that complies with the technical specifications detailed in the tender document.

- Technical documentation: Delivery of catalogues, user and service manuals in Spanish to guarantee the correct use of the property.

- Support and maintenance: The supplier must guarantee after-sales service, including the availability of authorized workshops and an inventory of spare parts for preventive and corrective maintenance.

- Factory warranty: Comprehensive technical support in accordance with the quality standards required by MITUR.

Qualification Requirements:

- Financial capacity: Presentation of audited financial statements for the last few years (2021-2024 mandatory) that demonstrate a liquidity index equal to or greater than 1.

- Technical experience: Prove at least 2 references of contracts or similar purchase orders in the last 5 years, whose cumulative sum equals or exceeds the budget of the item offered.

- Workshop support: Signed note that guarantees the own or authorized infrastructure for the maintenance and supply of spare parts.

- Bid guarantee: The submission of a Bid Maintenance Statement is mandatory.

- Opening process: Physical bids will be opened at the MITUR offices in San Salvador. The submission of national bids with a margin of preference is not allowed.
