Description
The Plurinational State of Bolivia has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the Program for the Expansion and Improvement of Sustainable and Resilient Water Supply in Cities, allocating part of these funds to strengthen the operational capacity of service providers.
The Ministry of Environment and Water, through the Program Coordination Unit (UCP-PAAP), invites eligible bidders to submit proposals for the acquisition of equipment and tools for EPSA COSAPAC RL and EPSA COROICO. This acquisition seeks to improve efficiency in the maintenance and operation of the drinking water and sewerage systems in these localities.
Key aspects of this tender include:
Contracting Modality: The process is carried out through National Public Bidding, open to bidders from eligible countries defined by the IDB.
Qualification Requirements: The technical aspects of the supplier and its ability to supply the required goods will be mainly evaluated. No margin of preference will be applied for domestic suppliers.
Acquisition of Documents: Interested parties may obtain the specifications by written request and payment of a non-refundable sum.
Guarantee: It is mandatory to submit a Statement of Maintenance of the Offer along with the proposal.
Bids must be delivered in a physically closed manner at the offices of the UCP-PAAP in the area of Obrajes, La Paz. Electronic bids are not allowed and the deadline for receipt is March 27, 2026.
