Design, construction and equipping of shelter unit and related works

Description

The Republic of Costa Rica has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to partially finance the cost of the Comprehensive Program for Citizen Security and Prevention of Violence for the Inclusion of Vulnerable Migrant Groups, and it is proposed to use part of the funds to make payments under the contract detailed in this tender.

The Ministry of Justice and Peace invites eligible bidders to submit bids for the design, construction and equipment of the new Shelter Unit building and its related works. The project includes a construction area of approximately 1,305 m2 and includes specific technical infrastructure such as a wastewater treatment plant and a conditioned space for archiving. The estimated time for the delivery and construction of the work is 330 calendar days.

The tender is governed by International Public Bidding (IPL) procedures, allowing the participation of companies from all eligible countries defined by the IDB.

The qualification requirements require interested parties to demonstrate:

Proven experience: Design and construction of works with complexity, length and amount similar to those of this tender.

Legal and financial solvency: Certify compliance with tax obligations in their country of origin, absence of debts with social security and not have litigation that compromises their ability to execute.

Guarantee: All offers must be accompanied by a Statement of Bid Maintenance.

It is important to note that the contractor will use negotiations in the final award of the contract and no margin of preference will be granted to national contractors. Bids must be delivered physically, as electronic submissions are not permitted.
