Supply and Installation of Insect Cabinets and Insect Specimen Boxes for the Agricultural Research Laboratory of LVV

Suriname, through the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries, has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) toward the cost of the “Agricultural Competitiveness Program”. This National Competitive Bidding (NCB) process invites eligible bidders to provide specialized preservation equipment to strengthen the country's agricultural research infrastructure.

Scope of Goods
Core Objective: Supply and installation of specialized insect cabinets and insect specimen boxes.

Target Facility: The Agricultural Research Laboratory of the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries (LVV).

Key Requirements and Conditions
Access to Bidding Documents: Interested bidders can obtain a complete set of the bidding documents in English via email by submitting a written request to the designated program coordination office.

Procurement Guidelines: The process will be conducted in accordance with the Policies for the Procurement of Goods and Works Financed by the IDB and is open to all bidders originating from eligible source countries as defined in the bidding documents.

Margin of Preference: No domestic margin of preference will be granted to national contractors or local joint ventures in this procurement process.

Bid Security: All proposals must be accompanied by a formal Bid Security Declaration to guarantee the validity and compliance of the submission.
