Contracting of the works and equipment of the project of alternative modes of mobility in Pedasi includes the construction of bike lanes, improvements in the Pedasi park and Belisario Porras Avenue

Description

The Republic of Panama has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the Comprehensive Urban Development Program of Cities with a Tourist Vocation, in order to strengthen urban infrastructure and the visitor experience in strategic destinations.

The Tourism Authority of Panama (ATP) invites eligible bidders to submit proposals for this comprehensive project that seeks to transform mobility in the district of Pedasí. The work will be awarded globally and has an estimated execution period of 575 calendar days. Bidding is governed by International Public Bidding (IPL) procedures.

The main components of the project include:

Sustainable Mobility: Construction of a network of bicycle lanes to connect strategic points.

Public Spaces: Comprehensive improvements in Pedasi Park and urban equipment.

Road Infrastructure: Renovation and adaptation of Belisario Porras Avenue to improve pedestrian and vehicular flow.

The qualification requirements are detailed in sections II, III and IV of the Request for Proposals (RFP), covering criteria of technical and financial capacity and country eligibility. The presentation of a Bid Maintenance Statement is mandatory.

Bids must be delivered strictly physically to the ATP offices in Panama City. The bidding documents can be obtained through the Panama Compra portal (Public act number: 2026-1-45-0-07-LP-016754).
