Contracting of a diagnostic study of the needs of companies with export potential

Description

The Ministry of Economy and Public Services of the Province of Salta, Argentina, has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the Productive and Export Development Program of the Province of Salta. This call seeks to select a consulting firm to develop a comprehensive diagnosis and design strategies to promote exports and attract investments, with an emphasis on the knowledge economy and incorporating gender and diversity perspectives.

Scope of the consultancy
- Comprehensive diagnosis: Mapping of the export business landscape and needs survey to identify companies with potential for internationalization in the short term.

- Provincial strategy: Design of export promotion and investment attraction plans that include regulatory frameworks, management indicators and inter-institutional coordination mechanisms.

- Sectoral strategies: Development of specific plans for the agri-food, tourism, mining and knowledge economy sectors.

- Inclusion and diversity: Evaluation of the local value chain with a focus on female participation in managerial roles and the integration of indigenous peoples.

Qualification Requirements
- Firm's experience: Execution of consulting projects of similar technical complexity in the last ten years, including foreign trade analysis and investment promotion.

- Technical capacity: Track record in the design of technical sheets, survey methodologies and interviews with exporting and investing companies.

- Partnerships: Interested parties may join in joint ventures or include subcontractors to strengthen their qualifications.

- List formation: A short list of between five (5) and eight (8) eligible firms will be established, selected using the quality and cost method.
