AWS Cybersecurity Hardening Equipment Infrastructure and Equipment Configuration Services

Description

The Secretariat for Central American Economic Integration (SIECA) has received funding from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the project "Strengthening and Expanding the Capacities of the Central American Digital Trade Platform (PDCC 2.0) for Trade Facilitation" and it is proposed to use part of these funds for the contracting of cloud security solutions.

Eligible bidders are invited to submit bids to configure and optimize an advanced set of AWS cloud cybersecurity equipment.

The technical scope includes the implementation and optimization of the following tools:

- Firewalls and Web Application Firewall (WAF).
- FortiCNP Cloud Native and FortiCNP Data Protection.
- FortiSIEM and FortiAnalyzer for event analysis and rapid incident response.

The tender will be carried out through the International Public Bidding (LPI) process and the Best and Last Offer (B.A.F.O.) methodology will be applied. No margin of preference will be granted to national contractors.

The qualification requirements require the offeror to demonstrate:

- Specialized Experience: At least 10 years in setting up Fortinet cybersecurity equipment in the cloud (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud) and data centers.

- Verifiable History: Evidence of at least three (3) similar installations and configurations performed regionally or globally in relevant organizations.

- Certification: The company must be an authorized partner by the manufacturer (Fortinet) for the configuration of the requested equipment.

- Documentary Evidence: Delivery of contracts, letters of acceptance and receipt of clients that guarantee functional compliance.
