Rehabilitation of raw water reservoir 2 of the Puengasí drinking water treatment plant and construction of a new flow line

Ecuador, through the Metropolitan Public Company of Drinking Water and Sanitation, has financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), co-financed by the Official Credit Institute and AECID-FEDES, for the "Drinking Water and Sewerage Program for Quito". This call invites eligible bidders to submit proposals under the National Public Bidding (LPN) modality.

Scope of the proposal
- Objective of the work: Execution of the rehabilitation works of the raw water reservoir 2 of the drinking water treatment plant of Puengasí and the construction of a new flow line.

- Execution period: The estimated time for the development and final delivery of the works is 300 days.

- Presentation modality: Proposals must be delivered in a sealed envelope in a strictly physical way to the Program Coordinating Unit. Bids by electronic means will not be allowed and late submissions will be rejected.

- Qualification Requirements and Conditions
Regulatory framework: The process is governed by the guidelines described in the policies for the acquisition of works and goods financed by the IDB (GN-2349-15).

- Evaluation mechanism: The selection process will adopt the two-envelope system with deferred opening of the financial proposal, evaluating in the first instance the technical and legal qualification components.

- Guarantee of seriousness: All applications submitted by contractor companies must be accompanied by a declaration of maintenance of the bid.
