Description

Ecuador, through the State Bank and the Provincial Decentralized Autonomous Government of Sucumbíos, has financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the "Provial 2 Rural Roads Program". This call for International Public Bidding (IPL) invites eligible bidders to submit closed proposals for the execution of road works.

Scope of the works
Main objective: Execution of road asphalting works in the El Eno – Nueva Juventud section, in the El Eno parish, Lago Agrio canton, Sucumbíos province.

Execution time: The estimated time for construction is 600 days.

Qualification Requirements and Conditions
Regulatory framework: The process is governed by the International Public Bidding (IPL) procedures established in the IDB's Policies for the Acquisition of Works and Goods.

Evaluation criteria: Comprehensive compliance with the technical, financial and legal requirements detailed in the tender documents.

Margin of preference: No margin of economic preference will be granted to national contractors or consortia (APCA).

Required Guarantee: It is mandatory to submit together with the proposal a Bid Maintenance Guarantee for an amount of USD 50,000.00.

Management and submission of bids
Access to the rules: The bidding documents in Spanish are available in digital format through the official link provided or upon request via email.

Delivery modality: Bids must be delivered physically and in a sealed envelope to the Public Procurement Directorate of the Provincial GAD of Sucumbíos (Nueva Loja). Electronic bids will not be allowed and late proposals will be rejected. The public opening ceremony will be held in person with the option of online attendance.
