Chile, through the Sociedad Agrícola y Servicios Isla de Pascua SpA (SASIPA), has financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the "Program for the Sustainability of Water and Electricity Services in Rapa Nui". This call invites eligible consulting firms to submit their expressions of interest for the contracting of technical inspection services.

Scope of the consultancy
Main objective: To carry out the Technical Inspection of Construction (ITO) during the execution stages (construction, supply and assembly) and commissioning of the BESS Mataveri photovoltaic plant in Rapa Nui.

Project specifications: 2,994 MWp photovoltaic infrastructure with a 2 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS), synchronously integrated with the existing Thermal Power Plant to cover about 20% of the island's energy demand.

Responsibilities: Act as a guarantor of the quality, safety and regulatory compliance (SEC), environmental, labor and patrimonial of the works.

Qualification and Experience Requirements
Signature experience (last 10 years): Prove contracts executed or in execution (with a minimum progress of 80%) in:

Supervision, technical inspection or advice on photovoltaic plant projects with BESS systems.

Commissioning of BESS systems of at least 1 MWh and power generation plants of more than 3 MW.

(Desirable) Experience in hybrid generation systems (renewable and thermal in simultaneous operation) of at least 3 MWp.

Selection and conditions
Regulatory framework: Selection under the IDB's Policies for the Selection and Hiring of Consultants in order to form a short list made up of a minimum of five (5) and a maximum of eight (8) eligible firms.

Modality and presentation: Individual or association application (Joint Venture / APCA) is allowed, as well as subcontracting. Expressions of interest will be delivered by email.
