Description
The Republic of El Salvador has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the "Rural Roads Program" and will allocate part of these funds to the contracting of consulting services.
The services consist of the construction of the rural road improvement project in sections CA02 – El Sauce and Paz11s – Canton Hoja de Sal. The works are located in the districts of Santiago Nonualco and El Rosario, department of La Paz.
The Ministry of Public Works and Transport invites eligible bidders to submit closed bids for the execution of these road works.
The selection will be made in accordance with the International Public Bidding (IPL) procedures established in the Policies for the Acquisition of Works and Goods financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (applicable edition of the Loan Agreement).
Firms from eligible countries may participate. Qualification requirements include:
Financial capacity: Availability of liquid assets or lines of credit for at least USD $3,155,200.00 and an average annual construction turnover of USD $11,042,983.25 in the last five years.
General experience: Minimum of five years in construction contracts as of January 2020.
Specific Experience: Have satisfactorily completed at least one (1) contract of a similar nature since January 2020.
Personnel and Equipment: Demonstrate the availability of qualified key personnel and specialized machinery as detailed in the specifications.
